This is not a story about the political 'Left' ...though it may give insight who are, and may think they are right.

This is a story about a left-handed person.

Yes, I do write left-handed ...and throw a ball left-handed, but I copied my left-handed older brother.  

I didn't give it much thought ...I just copied my brother. And it seems that there is much copying going on, without much thought. 

But, this story is not about me ...just as what is going on is not about me.  I am just one person, and though we are always told that just one person can make a difference ...it seems that one person doing something wrong often has more influence than one person attempting to do right.

This is a story about Louie ...who just happened to be left-handed.

This left-handed person was told throughout his school years that he had to correct his left-handedness. Some people felt that there was more wrong than a personal choice to favor a left hand ...it was considered of the devil by some.

Since only about 10% of the population is left-handed, Louie entered an Ivy League college, predominantly right-handed.  It just so happened that in his class of 100 students, he was 1 of 3 who were left-handed.  

Louie cheated through high school ...and he continued to think he could in college.

Louie got away with it for a while, but then he got caught.

Louie was not allowed to continue his education at the college, but he was not a quitter ...he applied for another college, and he was accepted.

It seemed that Louie had not learned though.  How could he learn and obtain a degree ...if he hadn't learned the simple truth that it is wrong to cheat?

When Louie got kicked out of his second college, he protested loudly, and others took up his cause.  He said that left-handed people did not get a fair chance with educational opportunities.

Soon there were protests on university and college campuses throughout the country.  There were also many right-handed people who also joined the protests.

Louie was used to cheating, but he also sort had lost his moral compass long ago.  People who continue to cheat, and get angry when they get caught at it ...have more or less resigned themselves to not respecting laws and standards that have been set for acceptable society.  And the new norm for what is acceptable, is to protest in any fashion they deem as necessary to draw attention to their own perceived injustice.

Louie led protests involving the destruction of property.  When confronted, Louie responded the only way his emotions could lead him ...through more anger.

Through his resistance, Louie hurt those who were trying to stop his destruction ...and more help was called in to help deal with Louie and his most devout followers.

Some of Louie's new found friends got injured, but Louie's anger became unleashed ...and the sad result was that Louie died.

This sparked more anger throughout the country ...and now the anger was not directed at the perceived unfair policies of institutions of higher learning ...but against all law enforcement officers.

The law enforcement officers did not have the manpower to handle all the violence ...and they could not protect the businesses and innocent people who were victims of the gangs of anger.  Businesses were looted, people lost all they had worked for, and the only people who felt safe were the mobs in the street that the police could not control.

Like I said ...there are those that say that only one person can make the difference, but only if that One is listened to.

There is no moral compass ...no seemingly standard of right and wrong that can prove itself out, except if we follow Jesus.

Jesus is the One who can make the difference ...and though things may seem very difficult, the answer is not, as the answer simply has to be Jesus.
